Preschool Storytime

Stories and songs for children age 3 and up with an adult.

Buena Vista, Wednesdays at 10am
Northwest, Wednesdays at 10am
Central Library, Thursdays at 10am  

Toddler Time

A story and song program for children ages one and two accompanied by an adult. Registration required at Buena Vista.

Buena Vista Branch
Tuesdays at 10 or 11am
Fridays at 10 or 11am

Central Library
Fridays at 10am





Pajama Time

An evening storytime for Kindergartners and younger seasonally at either the Central Library or the Buena Vista Branch. Come to the library in your pajamas and get ready for sleepy time.


Book Parties

Four times a year elementary school-age children are invited to a party with crafts, games, refreshments and a performer to celebrate a book or type of book. Examples include Princess Book Party, Pirate Book Party, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid Party. Reservations are required. 

Family Films

Once the month the library shows a recently released, kid-friendly film at the Buena Vista Branch and the Central Library. Check the calendar for the next title.

Crafy Kids

A craft program for elementary school-age children at the Northwest or Central Library, Crafty Kids happens once a month and reservations are required.

Lego Club

Come to the Central Library auditorium one Saturday a month from 11-12:30pm to play with our Legos! For children ages 2-14.

Puppy Tales

During the school year, sign your 1st-3rd grader up to practice reading aloud to a sweet and nonjudgemental therapy dog. Buena Vista Library
