Celebrate the Century with our How-To Festival!
Have you ever wondered how to do a French Braid or eat with chopsticks, but didn’t know where to go for a lesson? Join us at the Central Library to learn a little about a lot.
This year marks the 100th year of Library Services in the City of Burbank. To help Celebrate the Century, the Burbank Public Library in conjunction with the Friends of the Burbank Public Library will be throwing a big How-To Festival.
There will be various stations set up throughout the library where selected city departments, local vendors, businesses and nonprofit organizations will have an opportunity to spend 10-15 minutes demonstrating how to do something, from how to knit to finding your credit score to establishing a garage band.
Learn a little bit about various arts and crafts, diet and nutrition, Yoga, pet care,...and much, much more!
A complete schedule of the day’s events is available on this website.
The Central Library will only be open from 10 AM - 3 PM for the Festival, regular computer and Reference Services will not be available. The Buena Vista Branch Library will be open regular hours with Internet and Reference services available.
