Sister City partnerships are created by an act of the City Council. According to Sister Cities International, "A sister city, county, or state relationship is a broad-based, long-term partnership between two communities in two countries.
The mission of the Burbank Public Library is to connect the community to opportunities for growth, inspiration and discovery.
The Library provides services at three sites:

We have a variety of book lists to help you select appropriate materials, but please do not hesitate to ask our friendly children's staff for help.
Established by Burbank Municipal Code, the seven Council-appointed members serve four-year terms.
There are now THREE WAYS to join the Friends or renew your tax deductible membership.
We rely on your donations to support the Library and its programs.
Because the Friends of the Burbank Public Library has qualified as a Section 501(c)(3) organization, all dues and donations are tax deductible in accordance with federal and state laws.
